AGP/PCI Graphics Solution for ~$155
Im looking for an AGP or PCI-E Graphic Card Solution for around $155.
I prefer AGP, so i do not have to get a new motherboard and processor and all that good stuff. This is my rig atm: 2.4GHZ 3400+ AMD Athlon 64 Processor 1GB 400MHZ RAM 160GB 7200RPM WD Caviar HDD 128MB 6800 (Leadtek A400TDH i believe) Chaintech VNF3-250 Motherboard Im looking to upgrade the graphics card a bit for my CS:S/BF2/Guild Wars gaming needs. I REALLY Prefer AGP, in which my budget is around ~$160. I dont know whether to go GDDR3 or GDDR2 and should i get a 512mb card or 256mb card, lots of variables here for my AGP. I prefer not to go PCI, because then ill need a new vid card, and ill probably end up getting a new Processor (the 3400 is a Socket 754), but if i absolutely must, then I can spend around ~$120 on the PCI Video card AT MOST. Id like a reccomendation on the AGP card, but if the PCI is economically more suitable for my situation, ill take it. Thanks, Commodore |

If you want to upgrade, you're going to have to spend another $100 or so and go for something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130269 or start saving for a new build.
