new monitor help
im looking for a new monitor since my third viewsonic in a year has crapped out on me.. im hoping that they just give me a refund and get it over with, so i can get something else, which brings me to my first question. what is a good gaming and all around good lcd out right now, for a good price? i prefer a 20inch. second question is that if viewsonic wont refund me, what lcd should i ask for? do they make a good gaming lcd?

If they wont refund you, i would ask for a vx2025 The 20.1 widesceen.
or the VX922. It's a 19in non-widesceen with 2ms delay I have the vx2025, and can hardly live without it now. It's freaking ginormus. But the 19in will do you just fine, its still ginormus.(I usta have a small crt, old one at that.) And either of the 2 will be golden. |

alot of the monitors ask to varify that your grafics card can handle the res. my card can go higher than what it calls for but it doesnt go to that exact res right now.. mine is at 1600x1200 and this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116381 is asking for 1680x1050. is it just my monitor thats not letting that res show up right now? and is this monitor good for gaming? most reviews say no ghosting but pcmag.com said it does so idk who to listen too!! agh!! i need help!
theres also the next model up from that one:http://viewsonic.com/products/deskto...x2035wm/#specs can't find it anywhere for sale though. looks like a better monitor for gaming. Last edited by milkman4_hi_r; 10-22-2006 at 02:25 AM. |

The card cannot be set to a resolution unsupported by the monitor. As soon as the monitor plugs and plays, the resolution will be available.
