Setting screen resolution for new wide screen

On a Toshiba Portege M200 Laptop in multi screen mode with nVidia GeForce FX Ge5200 32M/64M I can't set the proper resolution for a new Gateway FPD1975W monitor. Everything is too wide. The screen want resolution of 1440x900 while the graphics card only offers choices of 1024x768 or 1280x1024. Gateway website does not appear to offer a driver?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

You need to look on Toshiba's web site for newer drivers for the video. I have a feeling that due to the age of the Toshiba, your probably not going to get the correct resolution to show.
