Need definition

Narrowed down to 2 video cards, one with Dual-Link Video, one without. $80 difference.

What's Dual Link Video? Both cards have dual digital outputs.

Dual-link video is a device standard to handle resolutions above regular DVI resolutions(max around 1920x1200). So if you have a large monitor with a resolution above 1920x1200, you need dual-link components(video card/video cables/video monitor).
