Problem with Media Center
Greetings Everyone,
I have recently been having a problem since I reformatted my PC with Media Center TV Recording/Viewing. I have pinpointed what the problem is but can't find a fix for it. From what I have found out I am having a gross error in MPEG-2 video decompression. When I am watching TV/Recordings in Media Center I see odd-colored blocks in random locations in the video image. This only happens when using Media Center to watch recorded TV. At first I thought it was my Video Card but since it started and only happens with Media Center I started researching that way and found a identical picture stating that it was that problem. The only problem is it doesn't state a fix. The problem is in when I use Media Center to play back the Program I recorded. If I use Media Player there is no problem at all. (But I like using Media Center because I watch TV with Friends over the net and it lets me turn on Captions incase I can't hear their sound very well) Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You |
