I have been happily using BTV to record TV programs. This works fine until a network decide to banish a struggling program to streaming video. NBC did that with Kidnapped. I had nothing invested in that show so I didn't care. Fox has done this with Vansihed and now I do care.
I would rather not watch the final episodes on my PC. Does anyone know if it is possible to record the streaming video as mpeg so I can then burn a DVD? thanks in advance. |

Sorry man, timeshifting (recording copyrighted broadcasts to your computer) is grey-area as it is - making those recordings permanent by buring them to DVD is 100% illegal. I'd suggest reading this site's FAQ.
