Boom Problem with computer or mic?

I use my microphone for online video games.

And for some reason, when I talk, it echoes and picks up the game volume aswell.

Now, my voice isn't clear either. I have a $20 microphone, brand new, and its giving me these problems.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it?

If you are using regular speakers for playback sound, that is probably why your getting feedback. Try using headphones.
