Can't get green

well, I just started up my computer and I don't have the color green on my monitor......I'm sure...I even searched google images for "Green", and all I got was a buch of black pictures......

what do I do??
I checked my connection, and I screwed the DVI to D-sub adapter in tight, and I've played around with all my settings.....I can't figure out what's going on....I'll test the monitor again on another computer, but I'm almost sure that when I plugged it into my Mac book pro it was fine...

HELP!!!

Could we have complete system specs - especially video card details?

DVI to vga adapter: mount to video card first then the Video cable/make sure the cable isn't pulling on the adapter and video card. Video card seated correctly. Cable fully connected at the monitor.

GOT IT!!!

the adapter that came with the video card, or one of them at least, was faulty, there were no loose pins or bent pins, but it didn't work right I guess

THANKS ALOT AGAIN FOR THE HELP!
