Just saw it in action this weekend. Flawless picture (from broadcast HDTV). I don't believe it will work for a cable or satellite signal.

Thanks for the input, I do have cable and I should mention that I have a desktop pc. The one you mention is for lap top. Thanks again. Anyone have another choice?

Yes the Pinnacle device is a USB device - it will work with any computer.

I'm not aware of any HDTV video card that will work with cable delivery. ATI's HD Wonder only works with over the air broadcasts and that's the only other HD TV card I'm aware of.

If I got this card do I still have to keep the video card in the computer or does this act as a video card. Thanks Jim

Now, that surprises me, I wonder why it won't work with a cable signal. How much would a tuner card cost that did?

Thanks for the info on the video card, I've been looking all around and haven't found any card that will do HD Tv through cable. One is that I think the Tv turner on the cards are limited to the # of channels it will display so that you would have to have a HDTV box to go above 125 channels? Most of my HDTV channels are in the 200 range around my house. So I guess that's why you have to go with free air receiving for any HD channels. Does that sound right? Jim
