No audio!
My daughter (at college) just installed iTunes on her Toshiba Satellite A105 this evening, then while listening to CDs and/or files, the audio died. Has anyone heard of iTunes bugs causing problems like this?
We have waltzed through the Windows troubleshooter, to no avail. IDE channels are all working properly (DMA), and we really can't figure out where the audio went. It doesn't work on the notebook's speakers, nor on a set of externals. Everything indicates that the volume is up to an adequate level, no muting, and her Realtek audio is "working properly" She's in the process of uninstalling iTunes to see if that has any bearing on the problem. I guess that the next step might be to roll back to the latest restore point. Looking for clues, hints, sage advice. Thanks. TA |
