LCD specs?
I'm shopping around for a new LCD. I'll mostly be using it for gaming. is there any noticeable difference in performace between Analog and DVI? Same question for 300 brightness and 500 brightness? I'm assuming i want to get an Active Matrix, however most descriptions don't include it. Do they just neglect to include that in the description or are most LCDs passive matrix'?

If it says TFT it's active matrix
Get DVI, as a gamer I doubt you've still got an analog only video card. This monitor : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116062 Another good one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001088 Note that both have brightness at 300 cd/m2. That's fine for regular uses, like gaming. edit : If you wallet will stand the really large widescreen models with HDMI that's when you'll start running into the higher brightness measure.
