HD PC Build
Not really sure where to post this but here goes.
I want to build a PC designed mainly for use with Media Center which will be a part of Windows Vista. I found a HD Digital Twin Tuner card. Now I will be doing away with my standard 17" TFT monitor and my TV, and buying a ~24" HD monitor to replace the TV and just use the computer to watch/record TV. I am a little confused as to what monitor/GFX card I need so that the computer will display HD. I currently have a XFX 6600GT with Dual DVI output. Would this be enough to output HD? Or do I need a special HD GFX card? Thanks! |

Yes, your best bet is to have a video card that provides HDTV output. A regular DVI output can display on a HD tv with the correct cables, but it may not display correctly.
