Weird Monitor Problems
I have a Mag Innovision monitor and whenever I play certain games, the screen shifts the same amount to the left every time. And by certain games I mean the ones that have better graphics such as Counter Strike: Source, WoW, and the Sims 2, but it doesn't move for games that don't have very good graphics like the original counter strike. Does anyone know why?

What video card are you using? Have you tried to upgrade the drivers? Sounds like a misconfiguration with the video card and/or resolution.

Video Card Type
The video card I am using is an ati radon 9600. I just upgraded the drivers and it still does the same thing.

When it shifts, use the monitor controls to recenter it and it *should* remember the setting.

monitor adjustments
I do shift it over and its fine fir the game but when i exit the game, it is shifted over to the other side so i have to adjust the monitor when i play teh game and when i exit.

Sounds like an older monitor. What model is it? What do you have your resolution and refresh rate set to in Windows?

do you have the games set up right because some games will shift the screen i exsprienced this with fear
