Possible new video card...

Well, currently I have a NVIDIA GeForce MX 100/200. I am thinking of just upgrading it a little bit and I want some input on if this card is worth it overall. The link is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131262. It recieved some pretty good reviews and is AGP which is what I have. Whatdya guys think?

It is an improvement. However, what do you have for a power supply?

It is just a standard 250W power supply.

That's marginal for that card.

Err, what does marginal mean? Good enough for it?

Well, is there anyway I can find what Power Supply it is without opening my computer or would I have to open it?

You will have to open it and look at the label.

Well this is what I found on the power supply besides the voltages and the watts.

Model: AP-300X
Part No. ATXPOWER350
www.startech.com

Hopefully that is enough.

It's not a quality brand - it's not total junk but I don't think I'd trust it with a stronger video card.

Looking at your other thread - I think you need to sit down and work out a upgrade budget. You have an old computer, but it's pretty balanced the way it is. You need more than just piecemeal components to improve it. The way it is, it's a fine websurfer and homework machine. A strong gamer it will never be.
