Is This PS Enough
I have an Asus motherboard P4C800E-Deluxe
2GB of Micron ram Intel 2.6 Processor 74GB Raptor Floppy drive Benq DVD drive Video card 9600xt to be placed by a HIS x1650PRO Right now I have an Antec 430 trupower, is it enough? Thank You Bob H. Last edited by Rpbertxyz; 02-25-2007 at 11:36 PM. |

I believe it should be. I'm running a similar setup except with a regular HD and ATI 9800 pro + a few PCI cards. The TP 430 fans are barely audible since the power consumption is relatively low.
The worst that will happen is the PSU will overtax itself and you'll hear the difference as the fans try to dissipate a lot more heat. It seems like it'll be more than enough power though. You're replacing the video card no matter what, right? If the PSU doesn't have enough oomf, you can always see how it goes and then replace the PSU for a beefier one should you determine it to be necessary.
