Monitor driver problems.

Hi,

Ive been having some strange issues with my monitor, so ive been to the Acer website, and downloaded the drivers for my monitor (Acer 1916W monitor). I got them here:

http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers...r/al1916w.html.

However, once ive unpacked the RAR file i have 3 files and im not sure to do with them! Here is a picture of the 3 files:

And here is a picture of the properties for the 3 files:

Could someone explain what im supposed to do to install these drivers? Im somewhat at a loss.

Cheers.

I downloaded those files and opened them, they appear to be text files only. If you are getting strange artifacts in the display, it may be a sign of needing to update video card drivers.

The actual display is fine, just sometimes the monitor realigns the picture way off-centre, so far to one side that i cant manually set it back. Its not a terrible issue, but i thought that maybe the drivers would correct it.

It's a zip file, not a rar file. There's an .inf, .cat, and .icm in there. Use device manager, monitors, open the monitor, driver tab, update driver, and point it to the folder where you unzipped those 3 files into.
