Sound Card not deteced after new Power Supply

My last power supply failed so I purchased a new one. After installation I noticed after every boot up my sound settings would automatically change to "headphones". I had to manually change it to my speaker settings. Since last night, my sound card is not detected at all. I tried re-installing drivers to no change

Did my old power supply take out my sound card as well?

Yes it very well could.

Try swapping PCI slots just to make sure.
