Is this headset compatible with this sound card??

Thank you for your input.

is that head set compatible with this sound card?

The Crosshair comes with an ADI 1988B audio codec which supports high quality 8-channel audio.

If you look at the photos, you'll see that the headset comes with an adapter to connect to standard 1/8" connections, same as the addin sound card on the Crosshair. Should work fine.

No, just means you can buy 7.1 surround sound speakers if you would like.
