Remote control for Vista Media Centre?

Hi all,

I've just purchased a 50" LG Plasma and would like a PC running Windows Vista Media Centre to sit underneath it in the living room so I have a few questions.

(1) Can Vista Media Centre be controlled from some kind of Microsoft remote control?
(2) If such a remote control exists, do you somehow have to mount an infra red receiver on your PC?
(3) Can the remote control (if it exists) move the mouse pointer around the screen.

The idea is to connect the PC to the LG Plasma and use it in conjunction with Vista Media Centre and from the comfort of my armchair control it with a remote control.

Possible?
