Sound Issues while burning

I'm trying to listen to XM online while burning a DVD and the sound is skipping and is distorted. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Im still slightly a noob. But i think that onboard sound takes more power from the cpu than a sound card.

I might suggest getting a sound card like this one.

I believe it should fix the problem.

Thanks for the help, but i fix the problem. All i needed was a driver update that was released about a week ago which is funny because thats when i started having these problems. Also everytime i reset i needed to re-install the drivers. That is all fix now!
