Looking for an audio / video switch thing-a-ma-jig

I think I've asked about this before, but I'm going to try again with more detail this time.

I want to somehow connect the following up in such a way that I can switch which device gets to put sound through the speakers.

I have a computer, a xbox 360, and a logitech z-5300e surround sound system. I want to be able to click a button and listen to which one I want without having to pull out and replug speaker plugs.

I also exclusively use the xbox 360 vga adaptor (seen here).

The logitech surround sound is meant to be used with a pc plus gaming consoles, so it came with an adapter which has two female rca plugs on one end, and one green female pc audio plug on the other. I plug the logitech's green plug into it and get the xbox 360's sound through all the speakers.

For the computer's sound to work I have to plug in all three of the logitech's beige, green, and black cords into my audigy sound card.

I basically need a hub which I could plug the surround sound system into, then have it branch off to the 360 and pc.

Also, I'd like to do the same concept with the two vga connectors that I now have - the 360 one and the computer vga one. I want them both to connect to my lcd and be able to switch which comes up on the screen.

I found a switch that lets you run two computers on the same monitor at Target (which is exactly what I need), but I was wondering if something existed out there that would incorporate the audio switch into one package. If not, I'm just going to buy this switch in the meantime. This one allows direct vga and dvi plug in, but comes with a dvi to vga adaptor, so it should work.

I would use a simple A/V switch like THIS. All you need to switch is the green connector. Plug the RCA adapted connection from the green plug on the speaker system into the output of the switch and use a mini plug to RCA cable to connect your PC to one input and connect the Xbox to the other.

But what do I do with the other two connectors (the black and beige ones) which are needed for the computer to get surround sound? The logitech's bass is where you plug the three pronged cord from it to the computer.

Or look for a preamp. That's essentially what they do ... take lot of inputs, enable you to switch among them.

Another (maybe more difficult) option would be to build a audio switch yourself. RadioShack probably has all the essential parts and then just would requite soldiering and a box to mount it in. I don't know how sound quality would be affected though, if any.

I'm beginning to think they just don't make what I need...at least not in any conventional retail store. I'm going to go check out RadioShack tomorrow. Do the guys at RadioShack actually receive any kind of training, or are they essentially the average Joe off the street?
