Directx 10 agp gpu???
I've been looking for a straight answer and I've searched the forum. Sorry if I missed the answer. Are there, or will there be any DX10 agp cards? Some places say yes others say no, but neither cite specific statements from Nvidia or Ati. Anyone have any idea?

I haven't seen any, but I would not be surprised if "they" come out with them. They said DX9 hot-rod card wouldn't come out for AGP but they did. To me, it would make good business sense because of the large installed base of AGP users.

haha theres your answer.
Yes/No I will add that they mights make them, but i would assume they would be lower end cards. In that case they would probably not really benefit much from the DX10. EDIT: Actually the correct answer is yes! http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37790 ATI will also probably do so as well. Last edited by whubbard; 06-04-2007 at 11:58 AM. |

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about believing what I read on that page. For instance:

I think what he means is that the inquirer should not be taken with too seriously.

yeah, but i could get other links that say there are DX10 nVidia cards. So i would accept it as true.
...but the leopards article is funny, but its also accurate. All its saying is that animal sounds attract leopards, big whoop. |
