I'd stay away from the Sceptre Brand. It's quality is about is low as you can go(I have one).
I believe you can buy DVI to HDMI cables.

do you have the black 360. the white 360 doesnt have an hdmi port. so unless you want a mess of cables i'd get the component to vga cable. i think either monitor would work.

Hmmmm...I now own 2 Sceptre 19.1" widescreens and have not had a single problem. They have good color, great contrast, and they're fast.

Well, the first one I got came with a stuck pixel, DVI input went bad after 5 minuets and there was a constant buzz from the speakers. I RMA'd it and the second came without any dead/stuck pixels and seems to work but it's still is not as good as my Samsung 710n.
For instance, if I shut off the monitor I have to restart because "Input not Detected" starts flashing. Sceptre blames it on my video card(have a X800XT). There is horrible light bleed at the top and bottom. Also there is about a sec or two delay when booting for display to turn on compared to the Samsung. The brightness control is a joke, I have it turned down all the way and it's still too bright. Plus is only has a 1 year warranty. I regret buying it. Thats why I'm not a fan. You might have better luck than me but I won't recommend that brand to anyone. |

I would go with the samsung, I really enjoy mine. Also SonicVanguard clearly got two good Sceptres. But generally you will find less issues with the Samsung than the Sceptres.
Pick up one of the HDMI to DVI cables here: http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/dvi/index.htm performance for the price CANNOT be beat.
