8800gts 320

im planning on getting a 8800gts 320 im not sure which to get im thinking about getting a xfx xxx edition but do i really need that much power? couldnt i get a cheaper card and overclock it myself or just get the xxx or get something thats not as powerful but ill be fine wit mayb the foxconn it has 5 less core clock but have the same mem clock and cost 20 bucks less or w/e anyways im open to suggestions

a factory overclocked card is preferred over a you overclocked card because if you oc it then the warranty is voided. if you dont get a factory overclocked card then the evga 8800gts is a really good card, they also have an oc'ed card for $287. You may also need more ram for either one of these cards.

more than 2GB?
ive saw the ones for evga but they dont have as much clockage as foxconn or xfx

uhh....well...i would reccomend AT LEAST 1gb of DDR-400 or higher for that card...your sig says you have 384mb...

I would also recomend At Least a Pemtium 4 @ at least 2.6 Ghz...:lol:

well....that makes everything better!...lol....

anyway..........i reccomend 2GB and an E6300 or AMD 5200+ for good performance....I build strictly AMD and own a 5600+(E6400 eqiv.) and a Leadtek 8800 GTS 320MB oced
