Question help with RCA video capture

I want to plug my vcr into my pc.

The vcr works on the tv perfectly fine, but when I plug it into the PC using red white and yellow RCA leads, all I get is sound and no picture. I have tried using Power cinema, Power DVD and windows movie maker, and the same result each time.
I have changed the Video input to composite on all the software, the yellow lead is plugged into OUTPUT on the vcr and INPUT on the PC.

I cannot find what kind of cards I have, but this is the PC:

Thanks in advance

Take a look at this.

Specifically "How do I use Power Director to capture the input from my VCR or DVD player"

You can either go through a video camera (the easiest way), or go a coax cables to a TV Tuner card with DVR software capabilities.

Apparently, that particular computer has composite (RCA) and S-Video inputs, which should be in the front somewhere. I've never seen a PC with composite/S-Video-in, so I'm not sure how that would work. I'm assuming you'll still need DVR software.
