SB X-Fi Trouble

I am having trouble getting into the Entertainment/Gaming/Audio Recording Consoles. My console looks totally different than these ---> http://www.soundblaster.com/products...entertainment/
Or any of these ----->http://www.soundblaster.com/products.../introduction/

Can anyone help me?

Tom =\

Which card do you have? Perhaps some of these consoles only come with the more expensive cards?

Here is a pic of my console ----->http://flickr.com/photos/10655648@N08/1046923778/

The type of x-fi card I have is an x-fi extremeMusic OR x-fi platnum (minus the external console) I bought it on eBay so i can't find any of this stuff. Any help is appreciated.

Have you updated your drivers recently? http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/

How are you accessing that? I have that audio console that you are seeing, if I go through the Control Panel. Try going through the start menu...otherwise that much simplier audio console I'm pretty sure has all the same settings.

Thats the thing, I go through the start menu to get to that... could you tell me exactly what your downloaded to get that console? Was it off the installation CD that I don't own?

Yes the drivers are brand new. I downloaded every thing on the creative page to try to get that interface, but no luck. It really stinks cuz I don't have an exualizer and I can't use my flexijack, which means no microphone for CS:S =[

I installed off the CD, but I'm pretty sure I've updated the drivers off the Creative website since then...

I believe that the fancy control panels and stuff are only available from the CD that comes with the card. Stuff that you download from SB looks to be the basic drivers and updates for stuff that would be loaded from the CD. Looks like you can buy an install CD from SB(look at the bottom of the page
