ps3 on this monitor?
hi,
I Have a Dell Ultrasharp modell no : 1907fpt and I'm getting a ps3 but as i like this monitor and it has a good reolution an response time i wanted to connect the ps3 to it using the DVI-D... I know there are some problems as far as connecting it up to the HDMI because of the HDCP which i don't think this monitor has... but I was wondering is there some alternative using the composite cables and some sort of convertor for the end or something? please help (o and sorry if this is posted in the wrong place wasn't sure:P) lol |

I have no clue about the monitor, if it has a good resolution then I recommend getting one of those HDCP converters, if the monitor dosen't support HDCP. (I belive their expensive)
If it does have HDCP buy a HDMI to DVI cable plug the PS3 in and enjoy! I use a HP w22 the best thing in the world, displays all resolutions, even 1080p. Link I found on someone who asks about the PS3 being able to utilize a Monitor http://boardsus.playstation.com/play...ead.id=1169532 |
