Unhappy BFG 7800 GS gone bad

I have BFG 7800 GS 256mb AGP. Recently, one of my hard drive was failed. So I had to install everything include all drivers. I noticed while I wanted to play BF2142, the graphic was slow. I haven't got like that before. It was smooth. I checked on with Nvidia monitor. The GPU core clock is 275 MHz. I know typical GPU clock 7800 GS is 375 MHz. Does anybody know what happen to my video card? Why the GPU clock core was decreased?

My PC Spec:
AMD 64 FX-55
Asus A8V
BFG Nvidia 7800 GS 256 MB
WD 320 GB
WD 60 GB
Creative SB24 live
Sony DVD/R/RW
DVD-ROM.
PC3500 x2 512MB
PC3500 x2 512MB Kingston

Have you physically check the card for dust that is jamming the HSF of the card? Have you installed the latest drivers?

yes I did. I even the dust out from the tunnel and also I checked the fan itself. It is still good. I installed NGOHQ driver for Nvidia. Also, I noticed, not only BF2142, BF2 also went slow on my PC. I even installed and uninstalled my audio card. I think I checked Sims2 game also. Do you guys have any idea what is going on?

After cleaning out the dust, does the clock still show the lower speed? Try bumping it slowly back up and test if performance improves.
