Fitting an Evga 8800 series card or...?

After reading an occassional post about getting large video cards to fit in some cases, I'm a bit curious to find out if I might have the same problem .

The case that I'm using is a Thermaltake Damier Xaser with an ABIT KN8 SLI mobo a Thermaltake "Blue Orb" CPU cooler, OCZ GameXstream 700 watt (SLI) PSU and an EVGA GeForce 7950GT KO 512 vid card (not running SLI). I can't think of any other info ya need . BTW, I'm not sure if this will have a bearing on fitting issues, but I would like to be able to use this card (8800) in the same case on an AM2 build.

If the 8800 series won't fit w/o serious mods, what other options are currently available that should fit and still perform better than the 7950?

Evga is my first preference by brand but its not limited to just that one.

Thanks,

CI

The 8800 GTX is 11" long and it will not fit in some mid-tower cases so, if that's what you plan to buy, then get a tape measure and check.
