LCD Monitor Suggestions

What do you folks think of this monitor?

SAMSUNG 941BW Black 19" 4ms (GTG) DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 500:1 - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001088

Looks like a heck of a deal after MIR. Also a good time to take advantage of that 20% off Paypal purchases The monitor will be used for basic office tasks - no gaming or anything of the sort.

Suggestions of other monitors of the same size and general price range would be welcomed too!

TIA

I've heard good things about Samsung monitors, so it looks like a good deal.

So have I... but need to find one that's height adjustable. I'm sure Samsung has something similiar with that.

This monitor is a bit more expensive, but it has height adjustments.

If you don't want to deal with the rebate hassle, get one of these Hanns G units instead. Comparable specs and even one with pivot and height adjustment for $5 more.

I just bought 2 Hanns-G monitors for Xmas gifts, both are perfect, no bad pixels. I also bought an Envision for myself and it has one dark pixel that's hardly noticeable.

I just don't see the need for paying a premium for the Samsung (and other higher end) names. There aren't very many panel manufacturers and the no name brands all use panels from the majors. All I do is try to research warranties and customer experiences with support.
