Quite simply...what is the absolute best video/graphics card on the market? No matter the price.

According to Tom's Hardware's VGA charts, the 8800 Ultra is the best card. It had the highest overall FPS score in their tests. However, the card does cost more than my entire computer.

Well, if we are talking about unreleased cards then maybe Radeon HD 3870 X2.
Catscon is probably right about a current card.

Link for those who need it. Taken from the EVGA website, so the price might not be the same everywhere.
Huge price though. |

Are you referring to the best GAMING or the best GRAPHICS card?

Well I have owned both Nvidia and ATI, many benchmarks say the 8800Ultra is the best. Many game players I know feel the HD2900XT is a better card. If you go with the numbers it is the 8800 Ultra hands down.
If you go with opinions you will get conflicting answers. The ATI cards seem to be working great with the AMD chipsets. There are far more Nvidia motherboards on the market than AMD so Nvidia dominates. Before I bought my current HD2900XT I had an evga 8800GTX and it had a lot of problems so I sent it back and got the ATI HD2900XT. I have had it for 4 months now without any issues.
