Monitor Califbrator

Hi all,
I have seen where some folks are recommending a software package for easy calibration of LCD monitors.
It is "Spyder2 Express and costs around $70. dollars u.s.

Has anyone here used it. Does it work?

Thanks for any info

I wouldn't pay for any calibration software. There has got to be some freeware and tutorials out there for that.
