No Vidio Imput
So, this was my first time building a computer.
Pradicatably, something when wrong. And also pradictably, I don't know where it is. The No Video Imput message was on my moniter when I turned it on, after I booted up my system too. So I checked the Moniter-->Cable-->Adapter-->Graphics Card--> Motherboard connections, and unfortunatly, they all seem to be plugged in right. Any ideas? Once I get the moniter working then I can see what else isn't working.... ![]() Oh, just realized this might be in the wrong forum, sorry if it is. What are your sys specs? Can you ensure that your graphics card is on (ex. card fan spinning)?

Ok, I've been working on it pretty non-stop. And still don't know what the problem is, or where is it even.
So, I've ruled out the moniter, and it's VGA cable. They both worked on this machine. And, then I thought it might be the adapter that I used for my 7600GT, DVI to VGA (of the moniter cable) So I dug out an old 5500 that had VGA output, tested it on this machine with the new moniter, and it worked,so I took it downstairs and plugged it into my new machine, said No Video Imput, just like last time. So that rules out the adapter as being the main problem. Also, the 5500 was in a PCI slow, I've tried the 7600 in both PCI-E slots, with the same result. I'm kinda out of ideas here... what else can I try? Oh, also, don't assume that my wiring is correct, could I have messed up a connection internally that would make this happen? |

Have you removed the motherboard from the case as directed in the thread I linked you to?
