USB Headset

When i plug ANY usb headset with a microphone into my vista x64 machine it sees it and gets installed. Problem is that the sound that comes out of the speakers is REALLY fuzzy and distorted. It worked when i had vista 32 bit though. Im guessing its the usb audio drivers that come with the x64 version. Where can i get signed updated usb audio drivers? I can't find anything in google or yahoo.
