Logitech USB Headset on fritz...?
Hi folks,
I have a Logitech headset than plugs into the USB port on an Dell Inspiron E1405 (Windows Vista)...normally when I plug this in, whatever sound is playing cuts off from the laptop speakers and starts playing through the USB headset instead, but this stopped working a couple weeks ago so that even when I plug the headset in, the sound continues to play from the laptop speaker but not through the headset...same with the microphone. I have tested the headphones on another system and they do work...so do the two USB ports when tested with a flash drive...the device manager says the Logitech headset (And SigmaTel audio codec) are working correctly. Any other ideas, anybody? Thanks in advance! Peter |
