Best Lcd Tv/Pc monitor Combo?

Does anyone know a good monitor or lcd tv that can be used for both purposes? I want to be able to play my 360 on 720p/1080p and run gameson my pc on it and have the monitor to look really good. ANy ideas? This is also going to be my dorm monitor/tv

The best for your situation is to look at LCD TVs. If an LCD Monitor/TV exists, it probably won't be very cost efficient compared to a regular LCD TV.

There are LCD monitors with TV tuners.

What's your budget and what size 19" , etc. do you want ?

I did some searching and I couldn't come up with any LCD computer monitors with tuners built in. It's just not practical since LCD TVs can easily double up as a computer monitors.

They can actually be tricky to find.

That one is being sold/marketed as a LCD TV. Either way, it's still twice as much as a 19" Widescreen Monitor.

No one said they were cheap but that's what he's going to have to look for if he wants an LCD TV/Monitor.

Try to find something that has at least a 2ms response time, since you say you'll be gaming, you'll want all the response time you can get. Otherwise high action scenes will look really blurry and will give you a headache.

1080p resolution TV's are generally found in 40" TV's and above; there a some 30-40" tv's with 1080p but for the price you're better off getting one that is 40" or more.

Your probably going to be using this thing in a small space right? well theres no point in getting a huge display in a small room, you'll just waste your money for extra size that will only hurt the quality. Viewing a HD display when sitting too close makes the picture look really pixelated where as if you were to view it from 1-2 meters farther back, you'll see a crystal clear picture. Sounds like you'd be better off with a 26" to 37" LCD TV, Just make sure it can display a PC signal.

Native 1360x768 resolution, only goes up to 1080i but thats to be expected from a 26" TV.
Oh and 4ms Response time, 4ms is tolerable but for a gaming your better off with less.
