Distorted Image

I am having problems running a demo or video from Microsoft or any websites, for egs, when I want to watch a demo of windows sharepoint and what I get are all red and green patches.

Actually, I reformatted my PC a few weeks ago and I have already updated the latest drivers for all devices including the graphic card. But the images are still distorted.

Could it be my Windows Media player or my ISP broadband speed?

Kindly advise. Thanks...

Here are the specs of my laptop:

Acer Aspire 1691 WLMI
Intel Pentium M 730 Processor
ATI Mobility Radeon x700 PCI Express with 128MB VRAM
512 MB DDR
