USB vs 2.5mm headsets
I am looking to buy a good stereo headset, mostly for voip use. I see many with conventional phone plugs that go straight into the sound card, and others with USB connector. Is one better than the other? what are the pros/cons?
Could it be that the USB version will automatically override my audio configuration settings and play sounds into the USB headset as soon as i connect them with my pc? instead of using my current config which is to playback sounds in the desktop speakers..? TIA. |
