Question Laptop Monitor Constant Flickering

few months ago my Toshiba Satellite laptop monitor, started to flicker for few minutes, then days. Now it get to the point that it's worsening. By openning and closing half way, holding or presing in a corner(left), I'm able to read and/or type. I have to keep doing this constaly in order to be able to seeThis laptop is only 2 years old. Never been drop or any type of abuse.
Is this a monitor and /or wiring, motherboard and/or video problem? Or all of them combine? Thanks. By the way, I used to be "longbow" and 15y. can't sing in with my last user name. have to register with this new name.

On the laptop issue, I wonder if you maybe have a loose connection from the monitor to the motherboard? It's possible to pop the case and tighten it.

On the log-in issue, I think I read somewhere that after an update some of the member files were lost. Have you tried to create a new account with your old name?

It sounds like it is the conection from the screen to the motherboard. I had the same problem and disconnecting and reconnecting worked for me. Also while you have it open use some compressed air and clear the whole laptop you would be amazed how dusty they can get.

Where excactly do I have to look for; monitor or board? I removed both, unplug what I believe is the monitor cable/plug, disconected/re-installed 2 small square plugs in the monitor but no differience. For me,it's looks like a small wiere might be broke inside insullation. It's not that I know, just guessing. But I really don't have an idea wich cable is from monitor to board. Thanks again. Any other suggestion? Thanks.
