Strange black line on my blue bar

I've got an EMU 1212M sound card in my machine. Really good piece of hardware. I'm quite happy with it. When I load my accompanying software(drivers and stuff), it puts an icon in my System Tray in the lower right corner. That icon is simply 3 blue bars.

Ever since I put in my new motherboard and graphics card, I've noticed that the blue bar that is in the middle has a small black line on the bottom of it. Really weird. There is no reason for this to be there. I've never noticed it before with my old motherboard and card, so I can't help but think there is some strange glitch somewhere.

I've contacted EMU but the guy said he's never heard of this happening before, so he's kinda lost. I've tried installing an updated driver for my card, but the black line is still there. I've tried changing refresh rates and screen resolution, but to no avail.

This is not a must-fix issue, for as far as I've been able to tell, my sound system appears to work normally. But I'd like to find out the cause of this queer graphical glitch.

My new graphics card is the EVGA GeForce 8800GT. My motherboard is the Intel DP35DP.

If I had another PCI Express Card I could put in I would, but at the moment I don't have one laying around.

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling.

Yes. I've uninstalled the driver that came on the CD and installed an updated one from the website. No luck. I've put in the old driver again. Still no luck. And all my other icons in my System Tray look fine. It's just this sound card driver that has this queer glitch.

Problem solved. I installed updated sound card drivers and PatchMix DSP. Looks normal now.
