i might

i might get a Logitech Z5500

what do you guys think? and do i need that sound card with 5.1?

If your motherboard sound supports surround, you can always use that. But considering how powerful those speakers are, I think it would be wise to treat yourself to a new card as well. The SoundBlaster X-Fi is quite popular.
