Monitor ghosting/ bleed question
I have a 20" LG lcd, I just had it replaced under warranty, the old one blacked out.
The replacement looks good, but I notice some slight ghosting with the cursor against light shaded backgrounds, but no other time. For instance, the mouse going over the title bar of a window may show a ghosting of the cursor, but nowhere else, and if I change the theme to a darker color for my windows, then there is no ghosting effect. when the screen is black, there is a small amount of bleeding at the top and bottom. The monitor is very usable, but these issues did not exist with the last one I had. Is this a sign of bigger problems, or just a common issue with cheaper LCDs? |

Light bleed is still common and best ignored but ghosting was largely confined to games, not moving the cursor.
It's time to check your settings, monitor drivers and/or mouse drivers.
