Canon Camera problems

I have Canon Powershot SD850 IS. I downloaded pictures to my hard drive yesterday. Today I'm getting "USB device not recognized" error. I updated the Zoombrowser software.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks a million.

Pull the SD card out and use a standard SD card reader, and copy the pics to your hard drive using Windows Explorer.

Tried other USB ports? Do a clean install uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I suggest using revo uninstaller as it can find out where the registry keys are and remove it as well.

I got a reader. It just irks me when it works perfectly one day and not the next.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into the Revo uninstaller.
