Deciding between monitors...

I'm looking into buying an 22" LCD monitor. These are the ones that I'm looking at. My main uses are watching movies and surfing.

Acer AL2216Wbd

ASUS VW222U

SAMSUNG 2253BW

SAMSUNG 2253LW
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001271

I can't figure out what the difference is between the 2253BW and 2253LW other than the size. I see some websites calling the LW an 22" though. It's on sale at Costco for $230. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Thanks in advance for any help.

weekend sale acer

I saw an acer 22" on sale (SALE ENDS THIS WEEKEND), it was only $189. One thing that jumped at me was that it had 2500:1 contrast ratio!

Go with the Samsung, just watch where you buy ANY LCD, check the return policy for dead pixels. Some stores only allow you to return an LCD if a certain percentage of pixels are dead. I opted to buy my Samsung (awesome product) at a local Staples because at the time they said I could return the LCD if ANY pixels were dead and get a different one. Granted I paid a little more but if I had to return it I could very easily with no hassle. Just a thought.

First one that I've ever had with absolutely no back lite bleeding.
The image quality is unreal.
Blazes with my games, in fact I made it my gaming rig monitor.
I have 4 BenQs - two 22", a 20" and an old FP93GX which still has the best image quality of all of those, all of them fantastic monitors but the new G2200W is no where near as good as the FPs.
SAMSUNG is a good one too.
