VGA -> S-Video for 2nd monitor
Hi all,
Posted about this a while back with no answers. I got a new laptop several months ago, and I love it, except that for video outs it only has VGA and HDMI ports. I sometimes use a 19" LCD with VGA that works fine, but I'd love to be able to hook the computer up to a 20" CRT television I have. Of course, the only inputs are S-Video and RCA video.
I bought a VGA -> S-Video/RCA adapter, and enabled the secondary display, but so far the only picture I get on the TV is a series of white lines over black. They vary their pattern when I change the refresh rate on the TV, but as of yet I've been unable to get a picture to show up. Any suggestions?
My graphics card is a Geforce 8600GT, and the TV is a Panasonic PV-20DF25.
