Alarm beep from PC case for VGA?

I just installed windows XP prof. today and after that loaded the motherboard installation driver and Video Card driver and installed those as well.
Everything works fine on the computer but I have 2 things bother me!

1.) That when I go to check my Device Manager there is a yellow question mark on "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus"

2.) There is this weird "alarm beeping" coming from my PC Case (Model/ Eurocase ML-5412 /blue screen) and VGA keeps blinking on the screen!?
It sounds like a alarm tone from a mobile phone or something like that and lasts for about 5-10 sec., nothing happens on the monitor itself or are there any other weird noises coming from case/PC itself just that alarm beep and the VGA blinking on the Case screen~
That happened twice in half hour, then 2hours nothing and then again about 2/3 times in a hour, now I had about 3hours without any beeping!!?

My first question what's this Audio Device... used for and how can I fix it?
Second question what could this beeping be about?
Third question are those 2 somehow related?

You need to install your audio drivers. That should get rid of that yellow question mark for Audio Device.

As for the beeping, I have no idea.

Please list all parts, make and model, including power supply.

The beeping could be due to an overheating video card.

But max. temp. was 40C yet, or is that only from CPU?

Where are you reading that temp?

Are you reading those temps from the LCD on the case? Is the fan working on the graphics card?

What BIOS do you have? If it's AWARD, that normally means something is overheating, generally the CPU, but I might be wrong there.

Iam reading the temp. from the display on the case and the fan (shows on the case screen as well) is rotating all the time.

About BIOS, my knowledge about this is very low and right now I don't have any idea what B. iam running

What temp is the case display reporting? CPU, motherboard, or VGA - or ambient air in the case?

I think it's the CPU temp., but is there a method to see the VGA temp./overheating etc?

I would be leary about the accuracy of the case displayed temps. Look at the temps in the Bios or download a temp monitoring software.

You can only see the VGA temp. if you have a probe attached to the GPU or your video driver is capable of monitoring and reporting it.
