Thumbs up FLV VIDEO CONVERTER anyone?

Hi All,

Can anyone reccomend a "free" FLV video converter?? Ive tried a few different programs but all are no good. Some produce really poor quality video while others cause the video/audio to be out of sync...

All suggestions welcome

You have to pay for it. Keep it in your mind that you can not get good quality by using free software.

That is not necessarily true. You just have to keep looking and trying.

In a recent issue, Maximum PC said they used SUPER to convert FLV Video files. Here is a link to SUPER's site: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

I agree with Masaki. I would say Super video converter is the best free one out there that does it all. The only problem is it's kind of complicated to use and the errors that it generates are non descriptive so it's hard sometimes.

There is a short tutorial on how to get FLVs converted with SUPER on the maximumpc site: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/how...deo?page=0%2C2.

I use WinFF. Converts pretty much anything to anything.

Try any video converter. There is a free version and a pay version. The free one works fine for me

http://www.any-video-converter.com/

Heres a link to the free version:

Send a message via MSN to Hi Ho
MediaCoder.

It's free, open source, fast, excellent quality, and works with virtually any video format.

http://www.mediacoderhq.com/

I never would have found it if it weren't for this site:

http://www.techsupportalert.com/

That is my first stop when looking for freeware. They haven't steered me wrong yet.
