Intel Audio Studio
I have an Intel mod# D975XBX Motherboard
I am using the on-board audio On several occations, the Intel Audio Studio becomes corrupted and disappears from my desktop. I cant seem to get it to work again. I am totally confused by the downloads available and dont know how to start from scratch. It seem that with several of these downloads with the studio, enable the sound but disable the studio. Im not sure of the right Audio drivers I have read all of the motherbord features but nothing points me in the direction of the right downloads for my board Could someone recommend a proper un-install/ install ? http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...ng=eng&strOSs= http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/d975xbx/ |

Intel
Intel had downloads that included "SigmaTel audio' and when trying to re-install the drivers and software I found that they are now replaced with "IDT Audio" as you can see by the link.
I went to add/remove, deleted by search and removed and downloaded new driver/software. I have sound but the Intel Adudio Studio is not working Intel tech support will get back to me Since I had the older SigmaTel Im sure there is a conflict but I have no way of knowing where to look or how to remove everything. They never said to un-install before downloading new stuff. Im sure all of the drivers I had downloaded and tried are also leaving behind something EDIT- Just noticed in the Intel studio help files -to uninstall the audio drivers along with Microsoft QFE. I dont have a clue where that is and how to reinstall it. Last edited by stymie222; 03-18-2009 at 10:20 AM. Reason: add content |
