Gaming monitor
1) I was thinking of getting a 30 inch monitor for gaming. I have been told at the native resolution of 2560 x 1600 I would struggle to play decent games at full game spec even with 2 high end graphics cards in SLI. Would you agree?
2) Is it true that if I scaled the resolution down when playing games or even in general use the image quality would suffer? I was thinking of getting something like this DELL ULTRASHARP 3008WFP http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=223-4890 |

The GTX295 will have no issues with a 30" monitor, problem is you will go blind sitting at gaming range, I have tried it, it gets really hard and you won't be able to play for very long, sitting 6 feet away from it beats the purpose.
Gaming is best with a 24" Samsung or Asus LCD. You will want a 2ms monitor, don't go for anything higher.

Can't forget the LG's. They make very solid monitor, although the price may be just a bit more.
