Samsung 2333sw warning

I bought a Samsung 2333sw 23" monitor today because I was having trouble getting my computer to display on my hdtv. I bought it at Best Buy, and it seems to be a pretty common screen.

The included stand does not go into the bottom of the monitor at all. I've found it's a common problem after a google search, but none of the methods suggested worked for me. Inserting at an angle, pushing down from the monitor, not the stand, or even adding a lubricant like vaseline. Nada. The thing refuses to go into the monitor. I balanced it on my desk just to test it, and the bottom portion has horizontal flickers at any resolution, especially during gameplay.

Luckily you guys helped solve my hdtv issue, so this other screen is going right back to Best Buy. I'm not saying don't buy a Samsung - I have a 19" syncmaster that I love - I'm just really disappointed in the design and quality of this model.

So, buy at your own risk. Just my two cents.
